Fall Campout — Registration Open!

It’s time to head outdoors! Pack 261’s annual Fall Campout is right around the corner. Join us for a weekend of camping, hiking, and earning adventure loops.

Details

  • Dates: October 10–12, 2025
  • Location: Eagle Creek Campground, Site B
  • Cost: $15 per scout, $10 per additional family member
  • Registration Deadline: September 30, 2025

What to Bring

  • Tent and sleeping bags (family tents encouraged)
  • Seasonal clothing (layers — nights get cool!)
  • Rain gear just in case
  • Personal first aid kit
  • Water bottle
  • Flashlight/headlamp
  • Insect repellent

Activities Planned

  • Saturday morning hike on the Lakeside Trail
  • Fire building demonstration
  • Archery (Arrow of Light dens)
  • Cooking badge requirements
  • Saturday night campfire with skits and s’mores

Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 261! We’re thrilled to kick off another fantastic scouting year. Whether you’re returning scouts or joining us for the first time, we have an incredible year of adventures planned.

What to Expect This Year

  • Monthly Pack Meetings — First Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM
  • Den Meetings — Weekly, schedule varies by den (check with your Den Leader)
  • Fall Campout — October at Eagle Creek Campground
  • Pinewood Derby — January — start preparing those cars!
  • Blue & Gold Banquet — February, celebrating scouting and advancements

Getting Started

If you’re new to the pack, please make sure you’ve:

  1. Registered on my.scouting.org
  2. Paid your pack dues ($X for the year)
  3. Connected with your Den Leader
  4. Joined our pack communication group

Our annual Trail's End popcorn fundraiser kicks off September 20th. Scouts who sell $300+ earn their way to camp!

Calling all scouts — it’s popcorn time! Our annual Trail’s End Popcorn fundraiser is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and every scout is encouraged to participate.

Why Sell Popcorn?

  • 50% of proceeds stay with our pack to fund activities, awards, and campouts
  • Scouts who sell $300+ earn their camp fees paid for next summer
  • Top sellers earn prizes including gift cards, electronics, and a trip to Scout camp

How It Works

  1. Pick up your order form at the next pack or den meeting
  2. Take orders from neighbors, family, and coworkers
  3. All orders due by October 25th
  4. Product delivery estimated for November 10th

Online Selling

Don’t want to knock on doors? Scouts can sell online! Visit trails-end.com and set up your online storefront — friends and family can order from anywhere in the country.
